Like any New Zealand business, The Privacy Act 1993 requires that we tell you certain things about your personal information and data we collect to be able to carry out our services. Check out our privacy policy statement below, showing you why you can trust us to treat your information with care and respect.

All information is to be collected by asking you directly, or through publicly available information (like your legal company name, for instance). We do not use third party agencies to supply any information.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • First and last names of business owners or those involved in the business
  • Company name
  • Where you had previously heard about us
  • Contact information including email address and phone number
  • Behavioural and/or interaction information
  • We request that you send financial information to Daniel before each Strategy Session/Accelerator Call meeting via secure email. We may also ask for financial information during our coaching services with you.

How we use collected information

We collect your information so we can understand your needs and provide you with a better service. Next Level Tradie may collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Internal record keeping
  • To improve our customer service
  • To thank your referrer
  • To personalise user experience
  • To improve our website, products, and services
  • We may periodically send emails about relevant content, information on the services we offer, or other content which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • To respond to your enquiries, questions, and/or other requests
  • We may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes (ask for your opinion, feedback, and/or testimonials).
  • Financial information is collected so we can tailor our advice and services to suit your needs. We need this key information to perform our Strategy Sessions and Accelerator Calls, plus our coaching services going forward. If you reject providing this information, it may mean we cannot perform these services for you.

If you opt-in to our email list, you will receive emails that may include company updates and content which we believe you may find of interest. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving emails from us, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or you can reach out to our Privacy Officer at donne@nextleveltradie.co.nz

Providing this information is voluntary. However, please understand that refusing to provide some information may mean we cannot perform our services to the best of our ability.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, or you simply want to view the information we hold about you, please email us as soon as possible, at the above address.

Who will see your information:

  • When you send us your financial information, Daniel is the only one who opens this file and sees your figures. (If you send these to a team member, they will be sent onto Daniel without viewing them).
  • All other information that is not of a financial or sensitive nature (for example, your contact details), is not shared with anyone outside of our team.

How we protect your information

We take all reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect is protected against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure or any other misuse. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and company practices and procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect form you.

We use secure cloud software like Dropbox and Google Drive to store your information. We ensure that these meet our privacy and security requirements, and frequently review the security functions available. We are satisfied that these softwares have adequate security and privacy safeguards in place to protect information it holds on our behalf.

Cookies (…the digital kind)

Our site may use “cookies” to enhance your experience on our site. Your web browser places cookies on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information.
